I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and hold a certification in Hanen for applying coaching principles in clinical practice for parents of children with language delays.

I believe that speech and language therapy should be individualized and child-centered in order to meet the communication needs of the child and their family. I find treatment to be most successful when providing support to children and guidance to their caregivers to promote meaningful and functional communication skills across settings. It's most important to me to make sessions engaging and functional so that children learn language and speech skills quickly and naturally while doing what they do best: play.

I had the privilege of receiving my master's degree in Speech, Language, & Learning from Northwestern University, and my bachelor's degree in communications from Florida State University.

I am passionate about early intervention, as well as communication disorders secondary to autism spectrum disorder and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). Additionally, I have extensive experience treating language disorders, stuttering, speech sound disorders, and voice disorders in both adults and children. I also have had the pleasure of supervising SLP clinical fellows, SLP-Assistants, and clinical interns, empowering them to succeed in the field.

I have experience in organizing social skills groups for enhancing social communication and parent education courses for early childhood intervention. I am certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk program, an evidenced-based program for early intervention caregiver coaching, and have received training in DTTC, a motor-based approach for children with CAS, as well as training in various augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
